Meg Hunter-Kilmer is an author, a speaker, and a Notre Dame campus minister who travels the world telling people about the fierce and tender love of God. She holds two degrees in theology from the University of Notre Dame and is the author of six books about Scripture and the Saints, which have combined to sell over 80,000 copies. Meg has spoken all over the world, giving keynote addresses at the National Catholic Youth Conference, the National Eucharistic Congress, and the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference, among many others. (Check out the “Speaking” page for more on bringing her to your community.) Meg is best known for her passionate preaching on Scripture and her captivating storytelling, especially about lesser-known Saints whose stories illustrate the wild diversity of holiness in our global Church. When she’s not obsessively googling obscure Saints, trying to convince people to read Scripture, or driving appalling distances while listening to audiobooks on double speed, Meg loves watching the Olympics and spending time with her many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Meg’s books include:
- Eyes Fixed on Jesus: A Journey into the Gospels, Volume 1—a narrative commentary on the Gospels (and Meg’s favorite!)
- Saints Around the World—an international Saint storybook for children
- Saints Around the World for Little Ones—smaller volumes with shorter stories and sturdier pages for younger readers
- Pray for Us: 75 Saints who Sinned, Suffered, and Struggled on Their Way to Holiness
- A Year In The Word Catholic Bible Journal—a journal that leads you through reading the Bible in a year (and the Gospels twice)
- Who Is Jesus? Discovering Christ in the Gospels: A 12-Week Catholic Bible Study
