  1. And I complain about my trials? Lord have mercy! The love of Christ deeply radiates in her existence. I can only pray that I might be a fraction as merciful and joyful in my tribulations. It always amazes me to know what other people endure and look at my life through their lens and realize how their courage and fortitude can effect my perspective. She is my new hero!

  2. I didn’t know that you love Cornelia Connelly – I love her too! She is definitely one of my patrons. When you are next in England you can make a pilgrimage to her grave. That is on my list of pilgrimage sites.

  3. But why did she renounce her vocation as a mother of young children to enter a convent? That seems like selfishness to me.

  4. Hi Author,
I am very surprised by the story of the woman and I am even more surprised to see the portrait Gula is so beautiful !!! How much we have to know, how much we have to see, we can’t understand if we don’t know the story of these women. Thank you so much for sharing
